The CAT and PIG stories were inspired by real-life farm companions Herbie and Quinn, whose personalities, adventures, and occasional stubbornness helped shape the characters in the books.
Like their storybook counterparts, they spent plenty of time exploring the farm, getting into trouble, and reminding everyone that friendship often appears in unexpected places.
